Mary Pagan Queen or Mother of God! by Leonard Alt

Is Jesus' mother Mary the pagan queen of Heaven? One person, quoting in Jeremiah, tried to associate this queen of heaven with Mary the mother of Jesus, the queen of heaven, while libations are poured out to strange gods (Jer. 18:4)! I asked her if this particular queen of heaven is in fact the mother of Jesus? She said "no she is a pagan queen". I then asked her if this particular queen of heaven is in Heaven.  She said "no". I asked her further if it were possible that there could be an actual queen of

heaven who is in Heaven and she answered "yes, it is possible". It is not only possible but very probable; however, this queen is not listed in Jeremiah. There is a queen with a crown of 12 stars listed in Revelations, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars (Rev. 12:1-2). She brought forth a male child [Jesus] (Rev. 12:5). Who is the mother who brought forth the child Jesus? This is Mary. She is the "Queen of Heaven" with a crown of 12 stars.

To those non-Catholics who still want to discredit the role of Mary by quoting Jeremiah, I would simply concede and admit that the Protestant pagan queen of heaven is in Jeremiah, and the Catholic Queen Mary, with a crown of 12 stars, is in Revelations. She gave birth to Jesus our savior.
